Planning Task 2 : Content Creation

How will my contents page be organised into sections?

My contents page will be one page, with dedicated columns for the different aspects of fashion/style that my magazine will cover; breaking the content down into specific topics that make it easier for readers to navigate what types of content they want to read.

My contents page will also feature a selection of main images, related to the stories being covered, to give a clear insight into what type of content will be featured in the magazine.

What type of content will my contents page cover?

A 'Cover stories' column, directing readers to the specific pages that the cover stories feature on, making navigation of the magazine easier. These stories will be eye catching, using language techniques to draw in readers, standing out amongst the other types of stories available to read.

A 'sustainability' column, with articles to educate readers on how fashion impacts the environment, where to shop, educating readers on how to be up & current with the fashion industry whilst bettering the planet. This will also appeal to an environmentally conscious readership, who typically turn away from the fashion industry due to ethical issues, thus widening the style industry to accommodate more people.

A column highlighting new designers within the style industry, to showcase upcoming talent to readers & act as a platform for designers to be able to get their work seen.

An 'editor's choice' column, acting as a personal recommendation to readers, cherry-picking the best articles to read based on the opinion of someone who knows the magazine best.

An 'Events' section, giving readers an insight onto the latest events within the fashion industry, showcasing up & coming fashion trends & collections

Which contents will you draw out to feature on the front cover?

The sustainability section, acting as a unique selling point for the magazine, appealing to those interested in fashion, whilst simultaneously taking care of the planet

My cover stories column will link to the stories featured on the front cover, making it easier for readers to find the stories most eye catching to them
